Talisyn Flagg's PledgePage

In July, I am doing the Heartland AIDS Ride with a friend of mine who is HIV positive. With 1700 other riders, we will bike 520 miles from Minneapolis to Chicago over 6 days. Before I ride, I will raise more than $2500 to ensure that when my friend needs it, the organizations that care for people with AIDS have the resources they need.

The money goes to AIDS Events Minnesota, which is an umbrella AIDS service organization, financing the following Minnesota-based beneficiaries:
Agape Home and Agape Dos provide holistic adult foster care for persons living with AIDS.

Archdiocesan AIDS Ministry offers services such as AIDS education and healing support for those living with AIDS.

Clare Housing provides adult foster care for persons living with HIV/AIDS, including shelter, services and compassionate care.

Grace House consists of two adult foster care homes for people living with HIV/AIDS in the Twin Cities from all walks of life.

Hope House of St. Croix Valley provides housing and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS who are unable to live independently.

Open Arms of Minnesota prepares and delivers nutritious meals to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Twin Cities area.

Samaritan HIV/AIDS Services, Inc. is an outreach of the Franciscan Brothers of Peace, to provide financial or material assistance to individuals with HIV/AIDS.
